Request a Plan Review

Beginning on January 4, 2021, the Scituate Fire Departments, in conjunction with the Scituate Building Office, began offering online permit applications through the state permit portal @ http://permits.ri.gov

• Please go to http://permits.ri.gov the towns are listed alphabetically, so click on the Town of Scituate.
• Next, click on Fire Marshal and then select the type of plans you are submitting for review.
• You may then fill in the online application and submit it.

Please note – The online process is for the application only; at this time, the Fire Marshals and the Building Department still require hard copies of the actual plans to be reviewed.

We are not yet equipped to review the actual plans electronically, but the system does allow you to submit supporting information documents electronically.

For those persons who cannot apply online, Hope-Jackson is still accepting paper residential applications at the present time.
